See in CMYK: Google Arts & Culture

What if the dots in a
CMYK print were replaced with AI-generated icons based on your photo?

See in CMYK, my project created in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture and the Exploratorium museum in San Francisco.

This project takes the CMYK mural I previously created for the Exploratorium and turns it into a personalised digital experience.

Participants take a photo and use Google Gemini to generate custom icons. These replace the traditional CMYK dots, allowing users to customise light and density to create a unique poster.

Available online and at the Exploratorium, where museumgoers can access the project via a kiosk and print out what they create.
